Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Quadle app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Mashnu Kanurkar (collectively, the "Application"). Mashnu Kanurkar is hereafter referred to as the "Service Provider".
This policy explains what information the Application collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices and rights you have. By downloading or using the Application, you agree to the practices described here.
Effective date: 2026-06-13
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address;
- The pages or screens of the Application that you visit, and the time, date, and duration of your visit;
- The total time spent in the Application;
- The mobile operating system and version you use;
- Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS) and similar device or installation identifiers;
- General device information such as device model, language, and country/region.
User Provided Data. If you create an account or contact the Service Provider, the Application also collects the personally identifiable information you provide, including your email address (see "Account Creation and Authentication" below). Any information requested will be retained and used as described in this Privacy Policy.
Account Creation and Authentication
The Application offers the option to create an account and sign in using Google Sign-In, implemented through Firebase Authentication. If you choose to sign in, the Service Provider collects and processes information from your Google account, including your email address, display name, profile photo, and a Google account identifier (Google user ID). This information is used to create and manage your account, to save and synchronize your game progress, to provide customer support, and to secure your account.
Signing in is optional — you can use core features of the Application without an account — but some features (such as saving progress across devices) may require sign-in. Account creation and Google Sign-In are intended only for users who meet the minimum age requirement set out under "Children" below. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by submitting a request through this form or by contacting the Service Provider at the email at the end of this policy.
Advertising and Monetization
The Application is supported by advertising and uses third-party advertising and ad-mediation services to display ads. The Service Provider currently works with:
- ironSource (Unity LevelPlay) — ad mediation and ad serving;
- Meta Audience Network (Facebook Monetization Manager) — ad serving.
To select, deliver, measure, and improve ads, these partners and their SDKs may collect and process information such as your advertising identifier (GAID / IDFA), IP address, device and operating-system information, coarse location derived from your IP address, and data about how you interact with ads (impressions, clicks, and conversions). Depending on your settings and consent, ads shown to you may be personalized (based on inferred interests) or non-personalized (based on contextual signals only).
These advertising partners act as independent controllers of the data they collect through their SDKs and handle it under their own privacy policies (see "Third-Party Services" below). The Service Provider does not control, and is not responsible for, the data practices of advertisers or ad networks beyond what is described here.
Your advertising choices
- Android: open Settings → Google → Ads to reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization.
- iOS (App Tracking Transparency): you will be asked, via the system prompt, whether to allow tracking. You can also manage this at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you do not grant permission, the IDFA is not used and you may receive only non-personalized ads.
- Meta: you can manage ad preferences within your Facebook/Meta account settings.
Opting out of personalization does not stop ads; it means the ads you see will generally be less relevant to you.
Analytics and Diagnostics
The Application uses Google Analytics for Firebase (which is enabled for this project) and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the Application is used and to detect and fix crashes and errors. These services collect usage events, app and device information, identifiers, and diagnostic data so the Service Provider can measure performance and improve the Application.
Cookies, SDKs, and Tracking Technologies
The Application and its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, advertising, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies (see "Consent and EEA/UK Users" below).
Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK)
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, the Service Provider relies on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for non-essential analytics, personalized advertising, and other optional tracking. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Performance of a contract — to create and operate your account and to provide the features you request.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Application, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to serve non-personalized ads, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
Consent and EEA/UK Users
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region that requires prior consent, the Application presents a consent management prompt (a "CMP") on first launch, allowing you to accept or reject non-essential tracking and personalized advertising. Your preferences are respected and can be changed in the Application's settings where available.
Third-Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application and its service. The Service Provider may also share your information with third parties in the ways described in this policy.
The Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. These include:
- Google Play Services — https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Firebase Authentication — https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google Analytics for Firebase — https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Firebase Crashlytics — https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- ironSource — https://www.is.com/privacy-policy/
- Unity (Unity LevelPlay) — https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy
- Meta Audience Network (Facebook) — https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
- when it believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with trusted service providers who work on its behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this policy.
International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable law requires safeguards for such transfers, the Service Provider will use an appropriate mechanism, such as:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission;
- adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms;
- your consent, where required and legally permitted.
Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any required consent for the transfer.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider, and you may object to or request restriction of certain processing, or request data portability where applicable. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at redwater.support@gmail.com.
The Service Provider may use the information you provide to send important information, required notices, and, where permitted by law, marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
Because the Application serves personalized advertising, the use of your advertising identifier and related data by advertising partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. You may opt out of this by adjusting your device-level ad personalization settings and the in-app consent options described above, or by contacting the Service Provider at redwater.support@gmail.com.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all further collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. Uninstalling stops the Application from collecting data from your device, but it does not automatically delete information that has already been transmitted to the Service Provider or to third parties.
To opt out of personalized advertising, use the device and partner controls described under "Your advertising choices." To request deletion of your personal data or your account, submit a request through this form or contact the Service Provider at redwater.support@gmail.com.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:
- User Provided Data (including account and email data): retained for the duration of your use of the Application plus 12 months thereafter, unless longer retention is required by law.
- Automatically Collected Data: retained for up to 24 months from collection, unless longer retention is required for legal compliance.
- Aggregated and Anonymized Data: retained indefinitely, as it no longer identifies you.
- Data required for legal compliance: retained as long as required by applicable law.
You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligation to retain it. If you want the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data submitted through the Application, please contact redwater.support@gmail.com. Please note that some User Provided Data may be required for the Application to function properly.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children, market the Application to them, or serve targeted advertising to them. Account creation and Google Sign-In are likewise intended only for users who meet this minimum age requirement.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16 in violation of applicable law. If the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, it will delete that information from its servers. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact redwater.support@gmail.com so the necessary actions can be taken.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information it processes and maintains. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Data Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
Do Not Track
Some browsers and devices offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, and the Application does not currently respond to them. You can manage tracking through the advertising and consent controls described in this policy.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy with a new effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect. Previous versions will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting redwater.support@gmail.com.
Your Consent
Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
Contact Us
If you have any questions about privacy while using the Application, or about these practices, please contact the Service Provider by email at redwater.support@gmail.com.
